In early November, Andreas Freimüller, CEO of nowtec solutions, embarked on a week-long visit to our branch in Moldova. This trip not only strengthened our international ties but also provided valuable insights into our operations and team dynamics. Read on to discover how the experience unfolded.
The Journey Begins
My journey to visit our nowtec solutions team in Moldova began in the early hours, departing at 4:30 a.m. from Zurich to Basel airport. From there, I flew to Iasi, Romania. Little did I know that the bus ride from Iași to Chișinău would turn into an unexpected tour of Moldova, including a stop in Bălți the country’s second-largest city.
A Week of Productive Engagement
During my stay at our nowtec solutions office in Chișinău, we dedicated our time to a range of meetings and activities aimed at enhancing our company’s operations. Our focus was on improving collaboration across our international teams, a key factor in our success.
Our brainstorming sessions and team discussions were particularly energizing. We evaluated our current processes, identified areas for improvement, and strategized on how to refine our approaches to ensure exceptional service delivery.
This hands-on engagement aligns perfectly with our long-term objective of offering a customer-oriented approach and personalized solutions to our clients. By taking the time to consider our employees’ perspectives and experiences, we’re better positioned to adjust our work processes in ways that benefit both our team and our clients. This collaborative approach reinforces our commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining our position as a leader in innovative solutions.
Exploring Moldova’s Rich Culture
My visit wasn’t all work. I took the opportunity to explore Moldova’s cultural heritage by visiting Orheiul Vechi, a historic site showcasing the country’s rich past. Located about 60 kilometers northeast of Chișinău, this archaeological complex is a treasure trove of history and natural beauty.
Orheiul Vechi features remnants from various epochs, including Paleolithic artifacts, Geto-Dacian fortresses, Golden Horde ruins, and a medieval Moldavian town. Its most striking feature is the cave monastery complex carved into limestone cliffs, which has served Orthodox monks for centuries.
Team Bonding and Celebration
Another highlight of the trip was a night out with the team. We dug into local Moldovan dishes savoring regional delicacies. The evening was filled with engaging conversations, and a celebration of our collective achievements. These moments of camaraderie are invaluable in building a strong, cohesive team across borders.
Looking Ahead
As my return flight took off from Iași, I found myself already missing the energy of our Chișinău office. Such visits play a crucial role in fostering understanding, aligning our global vision, and ensuring that nowtec solutions continues to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
At nowtec solutions, we believe that such personal interactions and cross-cultural experiences are key to our success in providing innovative, tailored solutions in the ever-evolving tech landscape.
Here’s to many more visits, to strengthening our bonds across borders, and to the exciting future we’re building together. Moldova, mulțumesc și pe curând! (translation: Moldova, thank you and see you soon!)
